At Colibrí Guitars we love short scale basses, but this time we decided to go further and we set out to develop an ULTRA short scale electric bass, yes, only 19 inches in scale but designed for standard tuning ... that is, from E to G, and our 5 string version from E to C.
Another fundamental aspect that we consider is that it was an instrument that could be really used in any situation, capable of meeting the requirements that the bass player may need at any time.
To achieve the necessary tuning, feel and definition, we set about finding the right scale, the ideal strings and coupled with our Colibrí 2B preamp we have a spectacular combo that will make everyone turn when listening to this little nanoG Bass.
