Gedovius model
The Gedovius model has been a flagship for Colibrí, created in collaboration with illustrator Juan Gedovius (who designed our logo). It is a different bass, created to produce an acoustic, round sound, with a lot of presence; so a short-scale semi-hollow body was developed (30 "for four strings and 32" for five strings), FRETLESS, yes, fretless and a piezoelectric system.
Some variants have come out of this design, basses with mixed Piezo / Magnetic or simply magnetic systems and in recent times, even on Bolt-on construction.
